WARNING: May contain Spoilers for Batman: The Dark Knight Sooo this is my Tribute drawing for the new Batman movie. Since the villains in TDK were pretty much what made this movie so memorable, that's who I attempted to draw. Umm there's a pretty weird back story behind this. My sister said that we should draw Matt as the Joker. And I was all, "Why the FUCK would you want to make MATT of all people the Joker?" She said, "I just like Matt and I want to draw the purple trench coat!  " It helps Matt had green hair in the anime.In the end, I was the one who ended up drawing it. (Badly, but I tried.  ) And of course, I had to make Mello Two-Face because...well, I believe in Harvey Dent. And because the two share so much in common what with lighting the left half of their faces on fire. EDIT: Check out  's version: [link]Click Download for full size. Yeah, Matt's anime hair color was pretty strange. I thought it was a greenish dark brown at first (his first appearance) but in being able to see the episodes in better quality you can see that it's definitely a muddied green (especially in the night shots). In the rare daylight shot of him, it looks more of a brown but still has green in it. Crazy anime designer wanting his hair to match a wall
Scary thing is, I thought this was Light and Misa initially and wondered "Why is Misa looking like Two-Fa...oh". Light and Matt have some similarities to them and seeing Matt drawn without goggles is rare, heh. And then if you removed Misa's pigtails and made her look a bit more masculine, you'd have Mello.
I'm surprised there hasn't been more DN crack fanart out of TDK, but we shall see. Interesting idea, though. *has thought of doing a gag art of Mello with the coin herself*
